Instructions to authors

Here is some information about the organization of oral and poster presentations.

The deposit of paper communication will be authorized from june 01, 2019, to access please register on the site by clicking on the "Login" button at the top right.

By submitting a paper, the authors implicitly accept the publication on HAL.

Templates for submission of extended abstracts:

The proposed templates should be used for the submission of extended abstracts. There is a Word  Template IMMAT'2019  (click on the link to download the file). All the necessary information is provided in the template. As a reminder, the extended summary must have a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 6 pages.

 

Papers will be included in the proceedings of the conference once accepted. Authors wishing to submit more extensive papers of up to eight pages and in English for Springer papers in the format specified in the Springer Template.

Oral presentations:

  • Oral presentations may be in English or French.
  • The duration of the presentations is 15 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions.
  • Each room will be equipped with a video projector connected to a PC with Microsoft Office  software, OpenOffice and Acrobat Reader .
  • It is widely desired to favor the use of the equipment made available, ensure the portability of your presentation, which can be tested during break

 

 

Guidelines for the preparation of Posters

   The poster must be legible at a distance of 2 to 3 meters. The standard poster size is 0.85 x 1.2 m (A0 standard) oriented vertically. Therefore, please find the following specifications:

the minimum size must be 20 cm for graphics;
3 cm for the title of the newspaper and the names / addresses of the authors in the title;
1.5 cm for section titles such as introduction, results, labeling of figures and tables;
0.8 cm high for a subsequent text
Line spacing: 1.1 cm minimum; 10 of these lines correspond to a figure.
Please use colors, symbols and diagrams to improve clarity.
